REG-2s Regenerator

REG-2s: REGenerator for 2
SHDSL pairs

Due
to the additional reach achieved by the the expandsl
remote DSLAM, most subscribers can be served without
the need for regenerators, however there will be
a few remaining cases where even greater reach is
required.

The REG-2s regenerates one or two pairs of SHDSL,
being powering from these same lines.

With up to two regenerators connected in series,
the R8as Remote DSLAM can be placed three times further
away from the C8sl Exchange Unit.

This architecture allows the cost of each regenerator
to be shared across up to eight subscribers, resulting
in the most economical solution for connecting subscribers
on exceptionally long loops.
